At Jersey Mortgage Company, we know how important personal privacy is to you. Because of our interest in protecting your privacy, Jersey Mortgage Company has adopted the following privacy principles, continuing our commitment to you, our valued customer:

Recognition of Your Expectation of Privacy
We recognize that you expect privacy and security for your personal and financial affairs. We understand the need to safeguard our sensitive information about you that you have entrusted to us within our affiliated family of banks and companies. We maintain standards and procedures designed to prevent misuse of this information.

Our Collection, Retention, and Use of Information about You
We collect, retain, and use information about you only where we reasonably believe that it will help administer our business or provide products, services, and other opportunities to you. We collect and retain information about you only for specific business purposes and we will tell you why we are collecting and retaining it upon your request. We use information to protect and administer your records, accounts, and funds; to comply with certain laws and regulations; to help us design or improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs so that we can provide you with quality products and superior service.

Our Maintenance of Accurate Information
We have procedures to help assure that your financial information is accurate, current, and complete in accordance with commercial standards. We also have procedures to respond to your requests to correct inaccurate information in a timely manner. While federal or state law requires some of these procedures, we have implemented additional procedures to maintain accurate, current, and complete financial information, including processes to update information and remove old information.

Limiting Employee Access to Information

We have procedures that limit employee access to personally identifiable information to those employees with a business reason to know such information about you. We educate our employees about the importance of confidentiality and customer privacy through standard operating procedures, special training programs, and our policies on ethics. We take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.

Security Procedures to Protect Information
We maintain security standards and procedures to help prevent unauthorized access to confidential information about you. We update and test our technology to improve the protection of our information about you and to assure the integrity of our information.

Restrictions on Disclosing Information to Outside Parties
We do not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to outside parties for their independent use unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you; (3) the information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency; or (4) the disclosure otherwise is lawfully permitted or required. We do not provide account or personal information to non-Jersey Mortgage Company companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies.

Maintaining Your Privacy in Business Relationships with Outside Parties
Sometimes it is necessary to provide personally identifiable information about you to a outside company, such as to a vendor or service company that we hire to prepare your account statements or to provide support or services for one or more of our products. These vendors and service companies agree to safeguard our confidential information about you and your products and services with us and must abide by applicable law.

USE OF INFORMATION
The provisions and explanations in this Use of Information section apply only to individuals. These provisions and explanations supersede all previous notices or statements with respect to the subject matter described in this Use of Information section. We reserve the right to change the provisions and explanations in this Use of Information section at any time.

Use and Sharing of Information within Our Affiliated Family of Banks and Companies to provide you with superior service and inform you of product opportunities and for other business purposes, the companies affiliated with Jersey Mortgage Company share information about you and your products and services among themselves.

Under the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable law, you have the right to prevent the sharing of certain information about you for certain purposes. If you wish to exercise this right, please provide us with your name and address, social security number or individual taxpayer identification number, your primary accounts or services with us, and your direction to limit the sharing of information among affiliated banks and companies. To provide us with this information, please either (1) mail it to us at Jersey Mortgage Company, 20 Commerce Drive, Suite 340, Cranford, NJ 07016; (2) deliver it to a customer service representative at our local company office; or (3) call us at 1-800-342-6597.

As more fully explained in the answer to Question #4 below, we are lawfully allowed to share some information with outside companies even if you request us to limit the sharing of information. It is our policy to share this information among our affiliated banks and companies to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If you previously have informed Jersey Mortgage Company of your request to be excluded from such affiliate sharing of information, you need not submit another request.

Use and Sharing of Information outside Our Affiliated Family of Banks and Companies
We maintain procedures designed to protect confidential information about you (and your products and services with us). Other than under the limited exceptions explained in this brochure, it is our practice not to share confidential customer information outside our company. You do not need to request this confidentiality; it is our standard practice.

Fair Credit Reporting Act
The Fair Credit Reporting Act is the primary law that covers information sharing within our affiliated family of banks and companies. This Act permits our affiliated banks and companies to share with each other the following types of information: identification information about you; information about your transactions with any of our affiliated banks and companies; and information about the experiences of any of our affiliated banks and companies with you. Information that bears on your creditworthiness, personal characteristics, mode of living or the like (other than identification, transactional, and experiential information described above) we refer to as personal/credit information which is covered under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. When you request to be excluded from affiliate sharing of information according to the procedures set out in the front cover of this brochure, we cannot share this personal/credit information about you from your applications or agreements, from credit reporting agencies, or from other sources when this information would be used to determine your eligibility for additional consumer credit or insurance products of our affiliates to market to you or in other situations when it would be classified as a "consumer report" under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
We will, of course, honor your request not to share this personal/credit information to determine your eligibility in these situations, but we will continue to share it in certain other situations, such as to service your accounts or to prevent fraud, consistent with the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Other Restrictive Laws
Other laws and rulings also regulate our ability to share certain information within our affiliated family of banks and companies in particular circumstances or to offer you products and services in particular cases. Some laws, for example, prohibit us from sharing certain information within our affiliated family of banks and companies without your express written or oral consent or, in a few cases, under any circumstances. Whether or not you have provided us with a "request to be excluded from affiliate sharing of information," of course, we abide by these laws. Other laws and rulings also regulate our ability to share certain information within our affiliated family of banks and companies in particular circumstances or to offer you products and services in particular cases. Some laws, for example, prohibit us from sharing certain information within our affiliated family of banks and companies without your express written or oral consent or, in a few cases, under any circumstances. Whether or not you have provided us with a "request to be excluded from affiliate sharing of information," of course, we abide by these laws.

How can I remove my name from lists created by outside agencies and companies
that are in the business of compiling lists for purchase?

If you wish to have your name removed from the lists created by outside agencies and companies in this business of compiling lists, send a written request with your name, address and social security number (if issued) to the organizations listed below. These organizations are responsible for notifying the agencies and companies that are in this business of compiling lists that you wish to have your name removed from the lists they sell. Be sure to include all versions of your name that appear in mailings or in calls you receive. You must register your own name and address directly with each organization listed below since they cannot process any requests from us.

Jersey Mortgage Company will include your name in its consumer exclusion files so that your name may be removed from lists compiled or maintained by the agencies and companies that are members of that organization. Your name remains in the file for five years. We hope that the provisions and explanations in this Use of Information section answer most of the questions that you have about our use and sharing of information about you.
