Arlene Acosta Bio
Born in the Dominican Republic, at the age of nine, Arlene Acosta migrated to the United States to reunite with her family in Perth Amboy. From an early age, Arlene always demonstrated enthusiastic passion in helping others.
In 2000, after several years of working a variety of jobs, Arlene opted for a career change and found herself in the mortgage industry. During her relentless search to excel, Arlene joined Jersey Mortgage Company in 2002. She brought her skills of helping people as they hoped to achieve the American Dream of owning a home. Arlene worked tenaciously to work her way up to #2 in the company.
However, in 2008, when the market crashed, Arlene’s career took a turn as she faced adversity in both her personal and professional life. While dealing with these trials, Arlene received an offer from Wells Fargo and accepted a position with the promise of becoming a branch manager.
After several years, in 2015, Arlene found her way back home to Jersey Mortgage Company, the company in which she launched her career. Upon her return with Jersey Mortgage Company, Arlene became a platinum member of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professional (NAHREP), where she is an active member.
Arlene prides herself in the relationships she has formed with her clients, referral partners, and real estate agents throughout her career. In the face of adversity, Arlene has always found success in her perseverance. Arlene is a proud, hardworking, single mother of two sons, James and Jeremy.
